TabTrade Overview - What to Know Before You Sign Up

TabTrade — The Short Version

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys did the opposite. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something that is a few months old, that range is broad.

What You Trade On

Available: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you know a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Many people like it better than MT5 once they try it.

FIX API is offered for automated strategies but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That would make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

This is the area where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals what kind of broker this is.

Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering holds up. Not many platforms in this bracket offer execution like this.

Regulation

This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, stop reading. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. It should be part of how you think about it.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
