TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It means the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. But preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities prime brokers run on. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, that coverage is not narrow.
Platforms
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. A lot of traders find it more natural after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That will round things out when it arrives.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade does not.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not relevant to most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is where this broker stands apart. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That is what kind of broker this is.
Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering holds up. Few brokers with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
This is the part that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into how you think about it.
What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.
